The process of creating and managing a list of checksum can be arduous and slow. File Sanity takes aim at the task of not only creating file checksums but doing it in a fast sensible way. It makes it easy to create checksums in a number of different formats. Here are some of the features with many more slated to be introduced soon...

Super fast performance
File Sanity is built on Mac OS X native technologies, not abstracted and minified through 3rd party User Interface libraries. The interface aims to be simple yet powerful keeping to an intuitive process flow. The app is driven by a database backend, which will store and maintain millions of records. Later these can be pulled back for viewing or be used to keep thorough records without the need for multiple files parsed over and over. All of your checksum data lives in one nice container and is available for loading, sorting, organizing at any point.
The interface clearly shows the input and output settings and with minimal effort can kick off the process of checksumming massive amounts of files. As it processes the files, it will not block the user from using other apps or feeling like it has brought the system to a stand-still.
